He is survived by: his wife Nora Schrimsher (Johnson); his sons, Harold Schrimsher of Michigan City, Indiana and Johnnie David Schrimsher, Jr. of Michigan City, Indiana; his grandson Jacob Frankinburger of Brownsville, Texas; his great grandchildren, Donovan and Aaliyah Frankinburger; his nephew Greg Kempfer (Teresa); and his niece JerriLynn Stantz (Mark).
