He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sobieski and Helen Sobieski; his siblings, Alex Sobieski, Edward Sobieski, Irene Sprowls, Raymond Sobieski, Evelyn Matott, Arthur Sobieski, Jean Majerczyk, Clem Sobieski and Frank Sobieski Jr.; and his grandson Cory Sobieski.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Hellenga (Ken), Tammy Sobieski, Sue Powers (Russell), Dennis Sobieski (Dawn), Tim Sobieski (Kim), Steve Sobieski (Candi) and Rick Childers; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Waninger (Wil), Amanda Sobieski, Shane Sobieski, Samantha Sobieski, Christopher Sobieski, Craig Sobieski, James Powers and Elizabeth Spoljoric (Zack). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
