He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Franks and Maurie Franks (Ingwersen); his wife Jane Ayers; his grandson Jacob W. Franks; and his siblings, Tom R. Franks and Sally Powers.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Callan of La Porte, Indiana, Kenneth Franks (Judy) of La Porte and Daniel Franks (Carm) of Hobart, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jill Blanchard of Hobart, Mitch Franks of Valparaiso, Ariana Franks of New Orleans, Keith Callan of Aurora, Levi Callan (Alli) of La Porte, Rick Foddrill (Laura) of Dinuba and Jon Foddrill (Jess) of Lowell, Indiana; and his great grandchildren, Jeremy Blanchard (America), Brooke Blanchard, Jake Blanchard, Laila Eve Franks, Emma Foddrill, Constance Foddrill, Bonnie Foddrill, Holly Foddrill and Nova Foddrill.
