Whiting (Michigan City, Indiana), born in Knox, Indiana, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rollin and Mary; his wife Sandra; his son Howard Whiting Jr.; his granddaughter Jessica Whiting; and his siblings, Ray, Vern Whiting and Darlene Ogle (Dick).
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Subin, Timothy Whiting (Denise) and Dennis Whiting (Linda); his stepdaughters, Jill Saenz (Christopher), Jodi Nielson (Donny) and Joy Meece (Joseph); his grandchildren, Sarah, Suzanne, Joshua, Alan, Taylor, Xavier, Gage, Dylan, Lilly, Michael, Jeremy, Zachary, Keifen, Scott, Anna Joy, Emily, Sean, Tyler, Joseph Jr. and Daniel; and his siblings, Eleanor Roseka (Dan), Betty Larva, Pat Zobrist and Carol Mahler (Mel). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Howard's name to the American Cancer Society or Life Care Center of Michigan City.
