She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard F. Vanderpool and Roberta L. East; her husband Gerald W. Hillman; her son Marshall W. Hillman; her brother Donald L. Vanderpool; and her niece Michelle Vanderpool.

She is survived by: her daughter Geraldine L. Sloop (Dave); her grandsons, Jerimiah W. Stone (Lauren) and Andrew W. Stone; and her siblings, Donna L. Nieman (Matthew) and Raymond E. East Jr..
