He was predeceased by : his parents, George Ottersen and Evelyn Ottersen (Schumacher); his sister Geraldine Arndt; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Arndt, Bill Latham, Sami Demirelli, Gayleene Ottersen, Doris Demirelli and Pat Turk.
He is survived by : his wife Donna Ottersen (Latham); his children, Randal Ottersen (Susan) of Lynden, Washington, Timothy, Kristine Parsley (Charlie) of Michigan City and Danial Ottersen (Andrea) of Michigan City; his grandchildren, Sarah Orwick (Ryan), Christopher Ottersen, Mariah Ottersen, Kayla Dodd (Jon), Heidi Parsley, Tommy Ottersen and Jed Ottersen; his great grandchildren, Declan Orwick, Liam Orwick and Shelby Dodd; and his brother Roger Ottersen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
