He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Mackeben and Fredrick Mackeben; and his sister Elinor Reader. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Lynette Miller (Ronald), Steven Mackeben and John Mackeben; and his stepchildren, John Kubicz, Edward A. Kubicz (Lisa), Alan Kubicz, Joseph Kubicz and Patricia Colbert.
Eighty-five and one half years later the Lord welcomed him back to Paradise on Sunday, January 15, 2023 and relieved Fred of his debilitating Alzheimer's Disease.
