He was predeceased by: his stepbrother Dominic Matthew Tonsoni. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Tannehill (Jay) and Alice Tannehill (Glick); his wife Heather Kay Tannehill (Scales); his son Connor Tierney; his pets, Spooky and Shamus; his brother Jacob John Tannehill (Monica); and his siblings-in-law, Clara Scales, Sharon Romero (Gilbert), Starr Arnold (Michael) and Daniel Bolin (Phyllis). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He launched an emergency soup kitchen during COVID and was the Soup Kitchen Ministry Coordinator at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church with the Downtown Soup Kitchen on the notation line or to the Michiana Humane Society.
