Rutledge of Michigan City, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Johnny Warren Sr.; her grandmother Alpha Payne Lawson; her aunt Ethel Payne; and her mother-in-law Barbara Tidwell. She is survived by: her cousin Shawn Smith; her husband Ephraim Rutledge; her children, Aaron Golden, Carlos Rutledge, Eriana of Michigan City, Indiana and Anyla Rutledge of Michigan City, Indiana; her mother Linda Walters (Payne); her stepfather Mark Walters; her siblings, Tomeko Warren Hopson (Kevin) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dorna Warren Robinson of Charlotte, Robin Warren Strayhorn (Jerome) of Charlotte, Johnny Warren Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Joshua Payne (Tremaine) of Atlanta, Georgia; and her nieces and nephews, Josiah Hopson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jerrin Strayhorn (Jessica) of Maryland, Shawn Smith, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, Lorin, Brooke Strayhorn of Gastonia, T'Yauna Payne of Indianapolis, Ja'Liyah Payne of Atlanta, Georgia and Savaya Tidwell of Michigan City, Indiana. She is also survived by cousins, extended family and friends.
