He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Werner and Lottie Werner Sr. (Logan); and his siblings, Helen, Lillian and Harold.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Boylston, Lisa Werner, Brad Werner (Carmen) and Lance Werner (Ann); his grandchildren, Amanda Simpson, Hilary Kassak, Marie McIntosh, Chuck Horn (Amy), Alex Werner, Danika Werner, Scott Fritz and Jenna Wolf; his great grandchildren, Nicholas McIntosh, Quinn Simpson, Kerrigan Horn, Dylan Horn, Meghan Horn and Lydia Fritz; and his friend Jeanne Kleinschmidt. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
