She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Baines; her parents, Russell Sage and Ada Sage; her sisters, Katherine Brooker (Harry), Zella Smith (David) and Doris; and her grandson Erik Robert Baines.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Baines (Rosemary) of Parsons, TN, Timothy Baines (Cindy) of Nashville, TN and Deborah Shaw (Roger) of Lincoln, IL; her grandchildren, Matthew Baines, Sean Baines, Ashley Grimm, Sydney Baines, Nicholas Shaw, Brittany Franklin, Mark Olson, Meagan Webb, Jillian Stanton and Bethani Hawkins; and her nieces, Kris Chambers, Lorraine Szoke and Linda Brooker. She is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Impact Christian Church in Merrillville, IN or Michigan City Christian Church in Dorothy's name.
