With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of De'Shawn Kasai Grant of Michigan City, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024. He is survived by: his parents, Yoshiye Fujita II and De'Andre Grant II; his cousins, Dahreus Howard and Brisaan Smith; his siblings, Ariyah Grant, Jayceon Fujita and Naa'irah Grant; his grandparents, Lashina Anderson (Jason), Sammie Felton and De'Andre' Grant (Monica); his great-great-grandparent Apostle Vera Roberts; and his aunts and uncles, Joslyn Carter, Samantha Felton, Janay Kelly-Grant, Donye'Grant, Dontia Grant and Marcus Lester. He is also survived by cousins, great uncles and great aunts, along with a host of other relatives.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Deliverance & Victory Five-Fold Ministries (4318 US-20, La Porte, IN 46350).
