She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander M. Pizarek and Anna Pizarek (Teets); her husband John A. Ziomek; her grandson Adam Schroeder; her great grandchild Caleb Johnson; her former husband Eldon "Sonny" Schroeder; and her siblings, Alexander J. Pizarek, William Pizarek, Andrew Pizarek, Ann Bue, Helen Lansberg, Ruth Knoll and Genevieve "Jenny" Pizarek.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Kietzman (David) of Chattanooga, Lori Cusick (Patrick) of La Porte, Indiana, Thomas Schroeder (Brenda) of Michigan City, Keith Schroeder (Stacy) of Hinesville and Scott Schroeder (Misty) of Michigan City, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jessica Schmidt (Edward) of Michigan City, Sarah Johnson (Scott), Georgia, Allison Williams (Brad) of South Bend and Abigail Kietzman of Anchorage; and her great grandchildren, Wesley Schmidt, Ayden Schroeder, Max Schmidt and Jackson Schmidt.
