He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane William Kinney and Hazel May (James); his son Steven Kinney; and his siblings, Howard, John, Mary Lou, Joyce and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Kinney (Graf); his son Tom Kinney (Dana) of La Porte; his grandchildren, Tyler Kinney (Kodie) and Paige Dessart (Ryan); his daughter-in-law Lori Kinney of Michigan City; his stepgrandchildren, Alicia and Bryton Maxey; and his sister-in-law Jean Kinney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
