He was predeceased by: his parents, Raffael Petti and Annuziata Petti; his wife Lucy L. (Petti); his great grandchild Giavanna Scott; his brother Giovanni Petti; and his brother-in-law Nicholas Venice.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Petti (David Bradley) and Nancy Palmieri (Vincenzo) of Michigan City, Indiana; his grandchildren, Anthony Palmieri (Renee) of Michigan City, Indiana and Angela Palmieri of Michigan City, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Cameron Scott, Ava Scott, Addison Scott and Luca Palmieri; and his siblings, Giuseppe Petti of Italy, Luigi Petti (Teresa) of New York and Esterina "Esther" Venice of Michigan City, Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
