It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Lillian Vernon of Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Charles Ora; her husband Dale LeRoy Vernon; and her siblings, Amie Clampitt, Jessie Clampitt, Evelynn Brown, Harvey, Donald, Jim, Junior and Clinton Clampitt.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Vernon of Chicago, IL, Lori McCoy (David) of Michigan City, IN, Larry Vernon of The Pines, IN and Leslie Vernon (Vicki) of Otis, IN; her grandchildren, Callie, Justin, Aaron and Joshua; her sister Ellen Gillogly of Palm Harbor, FL; and her brother-in-law John Vernon (Bev) of Seneca, IL. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the charity of the donors choice.
