With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfurd Risner of Michigan City, Indiana, born in North Judson, Indiana, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Huston Risner and Lewie Risner (Marshall); his wife Judy G. Risner; his children, Roxann Heffelifinger and Gregory Alfurd Risner; and his siblings, Geneva Bell Risner, Houston, Lewie Risner, Genus Risner, Etta Risner, IIean Rokie, Harold Risner (Opal), Fritz Risner and Nelson Risner.
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Shelby Risner and John Heffelifinger; his grandchildren, Tricia Hunt (Doug), Tracie Mikulski-Kleven, Terri Fitzpatrick and Aaron Wireman; his sisters, Evelyn Raby (Gene) and Glenda Deshon (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Vernon Barnett (Kathy), Jack Barnett (Joann), Doug Barnett (Gail), Pamela Manns (Bill) and Pat Risner. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
