He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Tina Pliske and Allan Shinn; and his uncle Christopher Pliske. He is survived by: his parents, David Shinn (Julia Pliskey) of Michiana Shores and Amy Pliske-Shinn (Rod Bensz) of Michigan City, IN; his sisters, Amber Collins of Eldon, IA, Olivia Shinn of Michigan City, IN and Madelyn Shinn of Michigan City, IN; his grandparents, Richard Pliske of Michiana Shores, IN and Georgiana Shinn of Long Beach, IN; his aunts and uncles, Edwin Shinn, Joe (Debbie Shinn), Paul (Gretchen Shinn), Jane (Larry Wall) and Megan (J. T. Thomas); and his pet Tom.
