He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert F. Goldsmith and Evelyn Armstrong Goldsmith; his siblings, Jeffrey Goldsmith, Katie and Julie Goldsmith; and his adoptive son Thomas Goldsmith.
He is survived by: his wife Rae Morrow Goldsmith; his son Jesse Morrow Goldsmith (Mary Ardery); and his grandson Arthur Ardery Goldsmith of West Lafayette.
