He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney V. Turnpaugh and Annabel Turnpaugh (Roach); and his stepfather Fred "Fritz" Fickle (Elizabeth). He is survived by: his wife Helen Turnpaugh of Mexico; his daughters, Mariann Hill (Steve Smith), Susan Jeffers (Scott), Annabel Bradley (Bob) and Alice Gonzalez; his grandchildren, Jessemie Laisure (Christopher), Brookston Retherford (Zachary), Braden "Winchester" Hill, Christine Valinet, Breanna Menefee (TJ Burrus), Sadie Harmon (David), Alexis Jeffers, Seith "Remington" Jeffers, Dawn Bradley, Bobbi Skarja (Stephen), Micaih Mann (Josh), Matthew Silva, Presley Gonzalez and Katie Gonzalez; and his siblings, Karen Criswell and Dave Turnpaugh. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
