Roger A. Downard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger A. Downard of Metamora, Indiana, born in Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Downard Jr. and Nancy Carol Downard (Watterson); his daughter Jennifer Higgins; his grandson Isaac Hauke; and his siblings, Mary Jane Downard, Joyce Jordan, Ruby Erjavec, Tim Downard, Donnie Downard, Phillip Downard and David Downard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Wildman of West Fork and Cindy Scott of Amelia, Ohio; his stepsons, Matthew Hauke of Brooksville, Aaron Hauke of Amelia and Jason Hauke of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his siblings, Donna Cook of Brookville, Indiana, Bruce Downard of Brookville and Michael Downard of Hamilton, Ohio. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Rock Catholic Church (17440 St Marys Rd, Batesville, IN 47006).
