Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gordon Nelson leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife Audry; his daughters, Maranda Wardia (Brian) of Florence, Ashlee Boyd (Doug) of Brookville and Samantha Johnson (Farmer) of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; his mother Gay Day of Laurel, Indiana; and his siblings, Joe Day (Nikki) of Laurel, Angel Holmes (Dave) of Brookville and Theresa Calihan (Scott) of Brookville. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home (1025 Franklin Ave, Brookville, IN 47012). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Riley Children's Hospital.
