He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel J. Thomas Sr. and Ella Mae Thomas (Doss); and his siblings, Anthony "Tony" Thomas and Jacqueline Juttone Thomas. He is survived by: his sons, Tyronn Thomas (Angie) of Terra Haute, IN and Tristan Thomas (DeLena) of Merrillville, IN; his grandchildren, Tylan, Jaden, Tristan II and Trinity; his siblings, Linda K Twilley (Charles) of Simpsonville, SC, Kendra Kendricks of East Chicago, IN, Larry Thomas (Doreen) of East Chicago, IN and Donald Thomas of Hyattsville, Maryland; and his aunt Emma Jean Latchison of Flint, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre (606 E 113th Ave, Crown Point, IN 46307). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
