We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2019, Rita Geary Wiggins (Merrillville, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Robert B. Geary and Terry G. Wiggins; her siblings, James Durkin Jr., Helen and Rosemarie; and her granddaughter Julia Geary.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Geary Shebat-Marable of Lubbock, TX, Kevin Geary (Phyllis) of Crown Point, IN, Timothy Geary (Rhonda) of Schererville, IN, Julie Ozello (James) of Rochester, NY, Martin Geary (Susan) of Hobart, IN and Robert Geary (Donna) of Schererville, IN; and her sisters, Mary Stephens of Palos Heights, IL and Anita Locke (Jerry) of Tucson, AZ.. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-children, and great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Rita's name to VNA Hospice of Porter County.
