He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Carlos (Freda) and Melissa; his grandchildren, Connor, Houston, Harper and Chole; his sister Ethel Scruggs; his siblings-in-law, Earl Smith (Sylvia), Ervin Smith (Vernita), Dwight Smith (Jean), Milton Smith (Bernadette), Anita Ranford, Emma Tennyson (Paul) and Shirley Blair (Myron); his nephew Gregory Johnson (Candyce); and his niece Laura Davis (Calvin). He is also survived by nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Episcopal Chruch (2425 W 19th Ave, Gary, IN 46404).
