We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2024, at the age of 94, Nancy Mae Gresham of Merrillville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Proffitt and Cuey Proffitt; her daughter Judy Abernathy; and her siblings, Dan Proffitt, John D. Proffitt, Mary Jane Minton, Rosie Minton, Frances Burkhart and Mag Nola Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Raymond and Kathy; her grandchildren, Jimmy (Jen), Tony (Melissa), Kim (Bill), Eydie (Dexter), Nathan and Casey; and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Danny, Dustin (Taylor), Kody (Char), Tiffany (Tyler), Kyle and Chase. She is also survived by 11 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
