The memory of Marianne Sobierajski of Merrillville, Indiana, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Sobierajski; her parents, Casimir Holewczynski and Tillie Holewczynski; and her sister Patricia Czajkowski. She is survived by: her children, Susan Elliott (late David) of Paris, TN and David Sobierajski (Rosemary) of Merrillville, IN.; her grandchildren, Eric Elliott (Tina), Megan Skrzypiec (Alan), Andrew Elliott and Ryan Sobierajski (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Rylan, Evelyn Skrzypiec and Ethan Elliott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church (8303 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Marianne's name to Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church.
