She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Eck; and her parents, John Opaluch and Katherine Opaluch. She is survived by: her children, Robert Eck (Mary Beth) of Ohio, Kathy Eck of Merrillville and John Eck of Merrillville; her granddaughters, Anna and Lucy Eck; her sister Halina Jacobs (Robert); and her nephews, Scott and Jeff Jacobs. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Geisen-Pruzin Funeral & Cremation Services (6360 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Martyrs Catholic Church (801 W 73rd Ave, Merrillville, IN 46410).
