It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Konjak (Merrillville, Indiana), born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on March 4, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Tina Catherman (Tim) of Carrie Weldon; his grandsons, Kyle, Hunter and Bryce Catherman; his siblings, Nonnie Karriman (Joe) of Barb and Ronnie Byrd; the mother of his children Sherry Handley; and his brother Rex Byrd. He was also cherished by friends; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lenny's name may be made to the American Legion, Post 54, 208 S. Linda St. Hobart, IN 46342.
