He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Carter (Lundsford); his siblings, Stroud Carter, Mary Jane McNinch, Jo Bob Moore, Emma Cummings, John Carter, Ruth Moore, Elizabeth Johnson, Mildred Greer, Donald Carter and Helen Huntley; his stepson Garry Long (Patty); and his parents, Wallace Carter and Mary Ann Carter (Tunstall).
He is survived by: his sisters, Sue Boland (Tom) and Barbara Vrabely (Tom); his niece Beth Carter Hrabovsky; his stepchildren, James Long (Barb) and Ramona Mitchell (Kerry); and his stepgrandchildren, Tamra, Allison, Matthew, Alexander Long, Winona Noble Abuan (Ron) and Gerald Noble (Evelyn).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Parkinsons Foundation 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, Florida 33131, would be appreciated.
