With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Benita Zacarias of Merrillville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Zacarias and Benito Zacarias; and her sisters, Ramona Puskar and Eve Black (Eugene). She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Fox (Rich); her brother-in-law Edward Puskar; her nieces and nephews, Michele Hirchak (John), Pamela Berg (Glen), Paula Fleck (Andy), Sandra Yatsko (Greg Wisinski), Ed Puskar, Michael Puskar (Carol) and Drue Staples; and her pet Sprinkles. She is also survived by six great-nieces; three great-nephews; her extended family; many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Benita's name to the American Heart Association.
