It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara J. McKay of Merrillville, Indiana, born in Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert McKay; her parents, Wesley Hayden and Amelia Hayden; and her siblings, Dick Hayden and Lyrell Toth.
She is survived by: her children, Deanna Ball (Kenneth), Karen Sullivan and Bryan McKay (Ellen); her grandchildren, Kameron Sullivan, Samantha Sullivan and Jacob McKay; her siblings, Bill Hayden (Linda), Jerry Hayden (Susie), Wayne Hayden (late Frances) and Dorothy Bachman (late Max); and her sister-in-law Cheryl Hayden. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Barbara's name to St. John United Church of Christ.
