Phyllis Sparks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2023, at the age of 94, Phyllis Sparks of Merom, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vickrey and Maude St. Clair Vickrey; her husband Ray Sparks Jr.; her siblings, Philip Vickrey, Olan, Ross, Lloyd, Hugh, John Vickrey, Evah Elmore and June Vickrey; and her close friend John Pirtle.
She is survived by: her sons, Cary Sparks (Paula) of Terre Haute and Gary Sparks (Ann) of Avon; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Sparks (Amy), Josh Sparks (Erin), Amy Mohr (Justin), Paula Rae Rego, Julie Crouse (Brian) and Brooke Sparks (Hynek Sefranek). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Merom United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
