He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Godfrey and Betty Williams (Grange); and his siblings, Kenneth "Mick" Godfrey, Johnny Godfrey and Sally Vash.
He is survived by: his wife Angela Godfrey (Byrd); and his children, Joshua Godfrey (Jamie) of Waxahachie, TX, Lori Rider of Alabama, Tonya Beasley (Donald) of Alabama, Angela Watts (Ray) of Vincennes and Amy Richards (Kevin) of Vincennes. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
