He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Zimpelman and Louise Zimpelman (Miller); his grandparent Zimpelmans; and his uncle Ivan "Red" Zimpelman. He is survived by: his wife Frances Della Coy; his children, Randy Zimpelman (Elizabeth) of Akron, Kelly Nellans (Rusty) of Mentone, Rusty Zimpelman (Amy) of Mentone and Krista Neace (David) of Mentone; and his stepbrothers, Curtis Hunt and Duane Hunt.
