He is survived by: his children, Russell Carnes, Jr. of Memphis and Cindy Mason (Stephen) of Charlestown; his siblings, Lonnie Carnes (Michelle) of New Albany, Terry Duran (Nick) of Jeffersonville and Vonna Eicher of Louisville, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Justin Carnes, Kirstin Salmen (Phillip) and Lauren Mason; and his great grandchild Stella Grace Carnes.
