He is survived by: his mother Marion Roberta Durham (Key); his children, Melanie Hicks-Straney (Derek), Sydney Schmitt, Carter Hicks and Ray "Tate" Edwards; his stepmother Regina Hicks; and his siblings, Karen Hicks, Ricky Hicks (Lisa Meixell-Hicks), Gloria Walsh (Brian) and Rob Hicks (Heather Gerlack-Hicks). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
