He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Burton and Edna Burton (Calhoun); and his son Jeffrey A. Burton. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn L. Burton of Memphis; his children, Dennis Burton of Dothan and Alberta Sharp (Steve) of Pekin; and his siblings, Christine Luttrell, Walter Burton (Jan), Henry Burton (Janice Arnold), Elizabeth Hoyt (Larry) and David Burton (Yvonne).
