He was predeceased by: his parents, Warnie Fields and Lizzie Fields; his siblings, Derrel, Donald, Delmas, June Sloas and Geneva Fields; and his daughter Diedre Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Fields; his children, Duwane Fields (Janet), Carol Decker (Dwayne) and Eric Fields (Jemima); his grandchildren, Anthony Decker, Mitchell Fields (Courtney), Ashley Raschke (Ryan), Nathan Fields, Clayton Fields, Marshall Fields and Lindsey Sprague (Justin); and his brother Paul Fields (Kaye).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Hwy 311, Sellersburg, IN 47172). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Bowery Cemetery (14400 Memphis-Blue Lick Rd, Memphis, IN 47143).
