He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Whitaker, Sr. and Viola Miller; and his stepfather Ellis Miller. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Evans (Jennifer), Pekin and Kyle Whitaker; and his sisters, Joyce Park (Richard) and Sellersburg.
