She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Knear and Elsie Knear (Bishop); her children, Vanessa Mattingly and Ellis James Jr. Durkalski; and her siblings, Donald Knear, Wanda Mobley and Linda Essary.
She is survived by: her husband Ellis J. Durkalski; her daughters, Theresa Brooks (Adam) and Rhonda Goforth (Jeff); her sister Diane Shoots; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wertz (Gary), Jason Mattingly (Brandi) and Jayme Feller; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Logan and Landon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Center - Scott Chapel (921 Main St, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
