She was predeceased by: her parents, Iva Nicholson (Childers) and Wesley Nicholson; her spouse Ervan "Buck" Shelton; her son John M. Shelton; and her brother Harley Nicholson.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard L. Shelton (Cheryl), Steven R. Shelton (Marilyn) and Jack E. Shelton (Alexandra Lynch); and her sister Jenny Hirsch of Carmel, IN. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
