He was predeceased by: his father Wilbur "Don" Sitterding; his mother-in-law Rosie Poynter; and his grandparents, Wilbur John Sitterding, Mary Mulliken, Leslie Pfenning and Louise Haws.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Sitterding (Poynter); his children, Dustin Sitterding (Julianne) of Angelus Oaks and Michelle Sharp (Jeff) of Nashville, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Sarah Sharp, Nathan Sharp and Dean Sitterding; his mother Ida Sitterding of Norman; his brothers, Lex Sitterding of Norman and Phil Sitterding (Allison) of Norman; and his father-in-law Arthur Poynter of Columbus. He is also survived by numerous nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brownstown Church-Nazarene (616 W Commerce St, Brownstown, IN 47220). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
