He was predeceased by: his parents, Linus "Spud" Evans and Juanita "Katie" Milam Evans; and his brothers, Sonny Evans and James "Spud" Evans. He is survived by: his wife Catherine S. Sanders Evans; his daughters, Jennifer Fransted (Cy) of Mecca and Jessica Evans of Mecca; his sisters, Jane Seay (Lamar) of Rockville and Betty Coleman (Jim) of Rockville; and his grandchildren, Gregory, Gavin, Garrett Fransted and Layla Mae Evans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
