We bid farewell to Raymond Gray Sr. of McCordsville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Raymond touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Raymond may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Raymond touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Gray and Lola Gray; his daughter Deborah Daley; and his grandson Donald Daley. He is survived by: his wife Dolores; and his children, Raymond, Jr., Patricia Lutey (Mark), Marvin (Christy) and Michael Gray (Cindy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
