It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Mae Steele of McCordsville, Indiana, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Marshall L. Tyler; her husband Richard Steele; and her siblings, Anna Lee Abel, Kenneth Tyler, Mildred Rush and Lowell Brune.

She is survived by: her children, Rosalie Steele, Edith Van Arsdall (Glenn) and Philip Steele (Elaine); and her grandchildren, Jarrod Beeson, Craig Rigney, Michele Welch and Christine Kwon. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
