He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Johnson (Barnett); and his children, Rebecca Cecrle and Jerrold "Jay" Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Johnson of Indianapolis and Deborah Johnson of Indianapolis; his brother Keith Johnson of Albuquerque; his children-in-law, Richard Cecrle of Indianapolis and Cheryl Johnson of Akron; his grandchildren, Amanda Fesmire (Josh), Melissa Bucksot (Ryan) and Bryan Cecrle; and his great grandchildren, Anna Bucksot, Mia Bucksot, Molly Bucksot, Ayla Bucksot, Joe Cecrle and Jackson Fesmire.
