He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson C. Vaughn and Mae Vaughn (Jones); his wife Deborah Vaughn; his brother Donald Whiteside; and his sister-in-law Linda Yager.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mildred of Indianapolis and Carl Vaughn of Indianapolis; his sisters-in-law, Janice Threet of Cookeville, TN, Judy Hickle (Carl) of Fortville, Karen Whiteside and Victoria Sharp; his nieces and nephews, Chris Whiteside, Greg Yager, Jeff Yager, Jeremy Hickle, Joshua Hickle, Shannon Hull and Michelle Early; his great-nephew Rylend Hickle; and his great-nieces, Oaklyn and Wynonna Hickle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
