With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thelma Shrout of Matthews, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Goldie and Nannie Mae Goldie (Bashaw); her grandson Luke Shrout; and her siblings, Jack, Ray, Gary, Herman, Ed, Leana, Dorothy and Betty.
She is survived by: her husband Luther Shrout; and her children, Luther Shrout (Debbie), Lisa Hough, L. Shannon Ricks (Steve Babbitt), Lorne Shrout and Lonna Combs (Steve). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
