He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann Christy of Matthews; his children, Gary Dilly (Melisa) of Matthews, Roger Dilly (Kristie) of Yorktown and Karen Wohlfarth (Scott) of Matthews; his grandchildren, Zach, Kyle, Lacey Dilly, Courtney Swain (Calob), Kayla, Kelsey Dilly, Eva, Owen, Lily and Roman Wohlfarth; his stepgrandchildren, Conner and Addie Belt; and his friend Stephanie Hale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
